Becky Jones West

As founder and president of WestRogers, Becky West helps clients succeed. That talent has enabled her to thrive for more than 20 years as a woman owner in a highly competitive field.

In 1986 in Memphis, Becky founded her advertising, public relations and marketing agency, which became known for farsighted strategy, cost-effective execution and innovative solutions. Operating under the radar, working closely with management, WestRogers serves clients in fields as diverse as banking, gaming, healthcare, politics, sports, entertainment and real estate. Becky credits her agency’s success to the creative team she’s assembled over the years.

Before starting WestRogers, Becky gained experience working for two of Memphis’ largest corporations. Armed with a degree in Radio/TV and Journalism from The University of Mississippi, Becky started with Methodist Healthcare, working as Director of Marketing for eight regional hospitals. She later became Public Relations Manager for First Tennessee National Bank, the state's largest.

While at Methodist, Becky spearheaded the branding of the Regional Medical Center at Memphis (THE MED) and the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center. One of the agency's first campaigns was arranging Bo Jackson's first professional endorsement while he played baseball for the Memphis Chicks. She also helped orchestrate the Orlando Magic's drafting of Penny Hardaway, and helped develop his brand in the early years of his NBA career.

She has earned a reputation as a bold strategist who tackles difficult tasks, working quickly and efficiently. Those abilities bring politicians to her door. The agency has handled successful campaigns for, among others, a Tennessee governor and congressman, a Mississippi Supreme Court judge and Shelby County mayors and sheriffs.
