Cole says, “First of all I am extremely grateful to be a women's council scholar. My first year at Ole Miss was so much more fun since I had so many friends from the scholarship. The ladies are so much fun to be around and they are so easy to talk to. The monthly meetings and the red plate dinners were always fun and exciting. The visit to the indoor practice facility was the highlight of my year. Hopefully this year we can get Coach O to come speak to us. The scholarship definitely helped me adapt to college life and I am so excited about this up coming year. The scholarship has provided a boost to my career, not only financially but character-wise also. The scholarship is going to increase my leadership abilities, which is critical to engineering and construction.”
