Edith Kelly-Green retired as Vice President and Chief Sourcing Officer for FedEx Express in 2003. She joined FedEx Corporation in 1977 as a senior accountant and progressed through various leadership positions, including Vice President-Internal Audit and Quality in 1991, Vice President, Strategic Sourcing and Supply in 1993, and Vice President and Chief Sourcing Officer in 2001. She also spent four years in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche in Memphis, TN as a senior auditor. Mrs. Kelly-Green now owns and operates fast food franchises. She holds a Bachelor degree in accounting from the University of Mississippi, a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and is a certified public accountant. She recently served as Co-Chair of the Pyramid Re-Use Committee and was a founding member of the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis. She is on the Board of Advisors for 3PM Music Group, the Board of Directors of the Rock and Soul Museum, the University of Tennessee Medical Group, and Applied Industrial Technologies (NYSE: AIT). She is also a graduate of Leadership Memphis. A breast cancer survivor, she is committed to promoting opportunities to communicate and reduce the risk of cancer. She is a past member of The University of Mississippi Alumni Association's Board of Directors and is currently a member of the University of Mississippi Foundation Board of Directors. In 1999, she was inducted into the Ole Miss Alumni Hall of Fame. Also in 1999, she established and funded the Christine Hickonbottom Scholarship as part of the Ole Miss Women's Council to provide financial support to African-American women entering the School of Accountancy. Additionally, Ms. Kelly-Green is a board member of the Christian Disciples of Christ Foundation and Treasurer of her church. |
