Jasmine Carter
Lindsay McCauley Kirkley Council Scholar
During my freshman year of college, I learned a lot about life
and its responsibilities. I can honestly say it was the most
unforgettable experience I have ever had, and that was partly
because of Ole Miss Women’s Council. Amoung the many
organizations I participated in my first year of college, OMWC was
one of the most important. Over the course of my freshman year
I was a member of the following organizations: Sally McDonald
Honors College, IMAGE, NobBCche, Forensic Chemistry Club, Ole Miss
Chemistry club, Black Student Union, RHA, hall council, and of course,
Ole Miss Women’s Council. I also spoke for the members of the
OMWC at a luncheon along with a fellow scholar. I believe that God
has brought me to Ole Miss for a distinct reason and purpose, and
I intend to fulfill that purpose and make a difference. I am so glad to
be a Women’s council scholar, and more importantly a member of the family. |
