Jan Farrington

Jan Farrington, a 1965 graduate of Ole Miss, is executive director of Medical Support and Development Organization Inc. in Jackson, and is on the board of directors of Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. Farrington also serves on the board of directors of FNC, an Oxford-based technology company.  She is past president of The University of Mississippi Alumni Association and is serving on The University of Mississippi Foundation Board.

Farrington is heavily involved in community service and has served as chairman of the board and state campaign chairman of the American Heart Association-Mississippi Affiliate. She was a member of the American Heart Association's National Development Committee and its National Agenda Planning Committee. She has been honored with the Mississippi American Heart Association's President's Award and the Heart of Gold Award. Farrington is currently serving as secretary of the national Delta Delta Delta Foundation. With her husband, Lawrence, she chaired the Mayor's Achievement Award's Gala in Jackson, Miss. The couple is chairing the World Performance Series Founders' Circle and work each year on the Art for Heart campaign.
