Lynnette Johnson is Senior Associate Athletics Director/Senior Women’s Administrator for the University of Mississippi. As a Senior Associate, she works with the athletics director overseeing 15 sports programs, as well as other internal operations and administration. A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., she is a 1988 graduate of East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. Johnson came to Ole Miss in 1989 and earned a master’s degree in education. She became a full-time staff member in 1990 as an assistant athletic trainer. Johnson who became the first female head athletic trainer in the Southeastern Conference in 1997, is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, a licensed athletic trainer in the state of Mississippi. She serves as one of the student-athlete M-Club advisers. She has two daughters.
